Once your trade has submitted a quote, it will appear on the dashboard under 'Jobs that are ready to be reviewed' section.
Click on the 'Quotes Available' status on the dashboard to see a list of quotes that are ready to be reviewed.
You are also able to view any attachments submitted by the trade as part of the quote and download any pdf attachments if necessary.
Here are the key features for creating quotes in B+A:
You have the option to accept, reject, or edit a quote you received from trades.
Accept - You have the ability to accept a quote on the owner's behalf. Once you accept a quote, all other trades will receive a notification to advise the job has been unsuccessful.
Reject - You have the option to reject the trade's quote for a maintenance request. The trade will automatically receive a notification to advise the job has been unsuccessful.
Edit - You can edit a quote before sending it to the owner. For example if the trade has made any amendments over phone or email.
Re-award - In the event that a trade has not yet quoted, you can use the re-award function to assign this quote to another trade. This will automatically cancel the request with the trade and send a new one to the selected trade.
Send for Owner Approval - once you have received your quotes for a specific job, you have the option to send them to your owner for approval.
Deactivate Job - If you no longer require the maintenance to go ahead, you can deactivate the job and all trades will receive communication to advise of the update.
Invite Trade - You have the ability to invite additional trades to quote for the request, for example if you initially only sent a quote request to one trade, you can still invite more trades to quote. Take note of the quote limit and update if need be.
You can also view and use the additional function by clicking the 'More' button, such as the following:
Remind Trades to Quote - In addition to the automated notifications sent to the trade, you can also opt to manually trigger a reminder to the trade.
Change Job Payer - By default the job payer is set to the agency trust, however you can change this to the owner, tenant or third party.
Job Edit - Should you need to edit the details of the job, you have the ability to edit. The linked trades will then receive an update of this action unless you choose to silence the update to them.
Clone - The clone function allows you to clone the exact details of the existing request, you can then use the pencil icon to edit and make any necessary changes.
