About the Redact Invoices add‑on
Redact Invoices is a paid add-on that enables your agency to conceal sensitive information on tenancy invoices before sharing or exporting them. This feature is designed to help you take reasonable measures to protect personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles as outlined by the OAIC. By using redaction, you can minimise the risk of accidental disclosure when sharing documents with owners, tenants, or third parties.
Note: Redaction supports privacy compliance, but it does not replace your broader legal obligations under privacy law or any state tenancy requirements. For example, NSW has advanced proposals that emphasise safeguarding renters’ personal data. Consult your legal adviser for agency‑specific guidance.
