Redact Parts of PDF (Owner Details)
Introducing the "Redact Parts of PDF" feature, allowing users to automatically redact sensitive owner details from tenancy invoices. This function is managed through a new setting under 'Creditor Settings' named 'Enable redacted tenancy invoice'.
Once enabled, IA users can define sample invoices by creditor to specify which sections require redaction, ensuring tenant privacy.
This feature:
Displays the 'Enable redacted tenancy invoice' setting under 'Creditor Settings' for IA users.
Allows IA users to upload, edit, and delete sample redacted invoices per creditor and invoice type.
Automatically redacts tenancy invoice details based on predefined samples during invoice creation.
Syncs redacted tenancy invoices seamlessly with the trust accounting system.
This optional add-on feature costs $100 per month plus GST, activated through the Add-on screen.
Once activated, you can enable this setting via creditor settings > enable redacted tenancy invoice.
How to Enable Redact Parts of PDF (Owner Details)
Within your Invoice Automate account, navigate to Settings > Invoice Plan > Add-Ons and enable 'Redact Invoices' followed by 'Save'.
Once you have enabled the setting, navigate to Settings > Creditor Settings > Enable Redacted Tenancy Invoices
This is where you can select which areas of the invoice you wish to hide before it is sent to the tenant.
Upload an invoice example for specific creditor and invoice type and click Select Section
Block out the area of the invoice you wish to hide and click 'add.'
This area of the invoice will now be hidden from tenants for future invoices.
