Invoice Automate: Property Tree Set Up
Updated over 7 months ago

Invoice Automate and Property Tree is a two way sync. Both systems send each other relevant data around properties, tenants, owners, property managers, creditors, reference numbers and invoices.

A quick overview of how to set up the property tree in terms of configuration for Bricks + Agent.

To find the Authorised Creditors:

Under the Property account, click on the 'Financials' tab and scroll down to the 'Authorised Creditors' section to see a list of authorised creditors for that property. Each creditor you are paying through Invoice Automate, must be listed with reference numbers under that particular property.

You can also see the various payment types for each creditor, such as BPAY or EFT payments.

NOTE: For any creditor with a BPAY reference, ensure that the correct and unique reference number specified on the invoice is entered under BOTH Customer Reference Number & BPAY Ref.

To add a new creditor:

Simply click on the '+' button on the right-hand side of the page and type in the creditor's name to find your creditor.

To add a Customer Reference Number & BPAY Reference Number:

Simply click on the pencil icon next to the BPAY Reference number to enter your reference.

Once finished, click 'Save,' which will save your reference and set it up for Invoice Automate.

How to find the BPAY Biller Code?

The BPAY Biller Code can be found under the financial tab of the creditor Profile, and then under the payment information.

NOTE: Ensure that the BPAY Biller code is correctly configured based on the invoice that you have created.

To create an Invoice:

In order for Invoice Automate to create the invoice in Property Tree, the Default Account must be selected and saved to the Creditor Profile. To do this, go to Creditor Profile > Financials Tab > Default Account.

To change the default account, simply click on the ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ icon and select from the options and then click 'Save.'
