About inspection alerts in Inspection Manager
Inspection alerts let you add a note for an inspector to see when completing an inspection. In the CMS, alerts are managed in the Inspection Alert Note section on a property record.
You can:
Enter an Inspection Alert Note (the message you want the inspector to see)
Tick Alert Inspector? to show a dismissible pop-up when the inspector taps Basic Inspection in the Inspection Manager app
View the inspection alert section for a property
To view or edit inspection alerts, first locate the property record and open it in edit mode. Use an alert note to highlight key issues an inspector should focus on during the inspection.
Use the search bar at the top to search for the property
Select the Edit (pencil) icon next to the property to open edit mode
Scroll down to find the Inspection Alert Note section (below the Tenancy area)
In Inspection Alert Note, enter the note you want the inspector to see
(Optional) Tick Alert Inspector? if you want the app to show a pop-up alert when the inspector taps Standard Inspection
Select Save Property to commit your changes
Tip: Keep the note brief and action-focused (for example, Check kitchen sink area for leak damage).
