This feature adds a clear 'Primary' tag next to the designated primary property owner in work orders. It ensures that trades can easily identify and contact the right owner when responding to a job. The tag is visible across the PM app, SP portal, work order PDFs, and emails—streamlining communication and reducing errors.


Previously, property managers using PT-integrated systems couldn’t distinguish the primary owner from other owners on work orders. This often led to trades contacting the wrong person, causing confusion and customer complaints. Now, the 'Primary' tag and bold formatting help clearly identify the key contact for the property.

Key Functionalities:

  • 'Primary' tag appears next to the designated owner on:

    • PM app (Workorder view & PDF)

    • SP portal (Premium/Lite)

    • Work order emails

  • Owner’s details (name, phone, and email) are shown in bold

  • Applies only to properties integrated with Property Tree (PT)

  • Tag is visible even if there is only one owner on the property

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. In Property Tree (PT):

    • Mark one of the owners as the primary owner.

  2. For Property Managers (PMs):

    • Log into the New PM App or PT App.

    • Post a job to the relevant property.

    • Click the “Workorder” button and download the PDF.

    • The primary owner will appear with a 'Primary' tag and bolded contact details.

  3. For Service Providers (SPs):

    • Log into the SP portal (Premium or Lite).

    • View the job and click on the “Workorder” button.

    • The primary owner is marked and displayed in bold.

    • Download the PDF to see the tag and formatting reflected there as well.

  4. Work Order Emails:

    • Emails sent to SPs show the primary owner in the body section.

    • Bolded details and the 'Primary' tag make identification clear.


FAQs & Troubleshooting:

Q: What if there's only one owner?
A: The tag will still display for consistency and clarity.

Q: Is this feature available for PME, Console, or Palace?
A: Not yet. This release supports only PT-integrated properties.

Q: Can I change the primary owner after the job is posted?
A: Changes to the primary owner must be made in PT. The system will reflect updates in subsequent work orders.

Q: Why are some owner details not bolded in emails?
A: Only the name is currently bolded in some email views. A separate ticket is open to address full formatting.
