How to Add a Last Inspection Data Inspection (LID) via the CMS

While it is always best practice to schedule your inspections via your Trust Accounting software, the availability to schedule inspections directly on the CMS is always available to you.


STEP 1: Navigate to the 'Inspections' tab, and click on the green '+ New Inspection' button at the top right.


STEP 2: Type the property address you wish to add an inspection on. Only properties that exist on the CMS will appear here.


STEP 3: Once you have selected your property, use the drop-down box under the word 'Inspector' to choose the user you wish to designate for the inspection.


STEP 4: Then proceed to choose the 'Type' of inspection. (Ingoing, Routine or Outgoing)


STEP 5: Select the Last Inspection Data drop-down and choose the inspection you wish to copy from.
You are only able to copy data from Closed inspections.

  • You can then proceed to select the 'Conditions', 'Comments' and/or 'Media' icons to indicate what data you would like to copy.


STEP 6: Then finally choose the 'Date' and 'Time' that you wish to schedule the inspection for and click 'Add'.


Once you complete the steps above, please refresh your inspection list on your Inspection Manager app to populate the new inspection.
