Learn how to use the thumbs-up feature to quickly apply good condition codes across an entire area in Inspection Manager on the app and in CMS.

This article covers:

About applying thumbs-up in bulk

The thumbs-up feature helps you complete inspection reports faster by applying good condition codes to items in an area with a single action, instead of updating each item individually. This is designed to reduce repetitive clicks when a room or area is in good condition overall.

In the app, the thumbs-up icon appears at the top of the area. In CMS, the Thumbs Up icon appears in the area heading while the report is in Edit mode.

Use thumbs-up in the app

Use this option when completing an ingoing, outgoing, or routine inspection in the Proptech Labs Property Manager app and want to apply good condition codes to all items in a single area. The newer app screenshots show the Thumbs Up icon in the area header and the area progress increasing after the action is applied.

  • Open the inspection in the Proptech Labs Property Manager app

  • Go to the area you want to update, such as Entrance Hall or Lounge Room

  • Tap the thumbs-up icon at the top of the area

  • Review the items in that area to confirm that the good condition codes have been applied

  • Continue to the next area, or manually update any items that need different values

Tip: Use thumbs-up when most items in the area are in good condition, then manually update only the exceptions. This is much faster than marking each item individually.

Use thumbs-up in CMS

Use this option when editing an inspection report in CMS and want to update all condition code items for an area in one step.

  • Go to: Inspections in CMS

  • Locate the inspection

  • Select View Report, then select Edit to update the report

  • Go to the area you want to update

  • Click the thumbs-up icon in the area heading

  • If prompted, select Yes to confirm that you want to mark the entire area as being in good condition

  • Review the area to confirm the condition codes have been applied

  • Continue editing the rest of the report as needed

  • Select Done when you are finished

Tip: CMS is useful for making final adjustments after syncing from the app, especially if you need to review comments, photos, or a few exceptions before completing the report.
