Can't find inspection on CMS?

The most common reasons as to why you are not able to locate your inspection on the computer are listed below.

  • Inspection has been deleted

  • Inspection was created as the wrong type

  • Inspection was completed as the wrong type

  • Misspelling the address on the computer

  • Inspection is assigned to another user

  • Inspection was done on incorrect address

  • Inspection hasn't been created yet

Inspection has been deleted

If an inspection was deleted, please click on the 'Recycle Bin' tab at the top right of the Inspection Manager website, search for the address and then click 'Restore' on the deleted inspection.

Inspection was created as the wrong type

Simply locate the inspection, edit it and change to the correct type, then save it.

Inspection was completed as the wrong type

If you have not added any data or are willing to re-enter the data you did add to the inspection, then it would be best to delete it and recreate it as the correct type.
If you have completed the inspection, then it would be best to complete it, close it and create an LID (Last Inspection Data) from this inspection. Contact our support team via chat if you wish to remove this inspection after using it for LID.

Misspelling the address on the computer

Sometimes a simple misspelling of an address when trying to search for it, is enough to stop a result from appearing. You may be typing the address incorrectly, but the property may have been added to our system with a spelling error in its address.

Example:

For example, if you were trying to search for '123 Example Street' and the address was added as '12 3 Example Street', it would then not display the address. This is because our search looks for the exact spelling of an address.

You can search a part of the address if you are unsure of its spelling, for example, just search '3 Example'.

This will display any addresses that have that as part of their address.

Inspection is assigned to another user

If you are only able to see your own inspections on the CMS and you cannot find the inspection you are after, it may be assigned to another user. Contact our support team via chat for assistance in locating this for you.

Inspection was done on incorrect address

At times you can accidentally tap on the incorrect address and conduct your inspection on another address. If this happens please contact our support team via chat and we will be able to move over your inspection to the correct address.

Inspection hasn't been created yet

If your Office has an integration setup, you should check to see that it is syncing and if it is, that you have an inspection setup correctly on your integration. If it is all correct then please contact our support team via chat for assistance in working out why the inspection has not been created.

If your Office does not have any integration setup, simply add an inspection in yourself manually.

Should you have any issues, please contact our Support Team by starting a Chat or emailing helpdesk@inspectionmanager.com.au
