Logging Maintenance As a Field Worker

This video provides you with an overview of how Field Workers can log maintenance via the B+A Property Manager app.

In order for you field / support workers to be able to create maintenance onsite, they will fist need to be setup as a field worker from within your Bricks + Agent settings.

How to setup a Field Worker

To setup a new field worker, navigate to settings > agency configuration > field worker and click +new user to create your new field worker. This will trigger an invite email to send for the password setup.

The field worker can then download from the app store the B+A Property Manager app.

If you only want your field worker to have access to select properties, they will have to be added in as a tenant against that particular property instead and go via the tenant reporting methods.

How to log maintenance as a Field Worker

Once you have been setup as a Field Worker by the organisation, you will need to download the B+A Property Manager App from the Apple or Google Play store.

Login to the B+A Property Manager app and select 'Post Your Job'

Go through the steps to log the maintenance, starting with the address, job title and job description. You can then upload an image or take one from your mobile device.

The last step is to confirm the job priority & the key collection options.

To post the job, select the 'Post the Job' button.

A confirmation email will then be sent to you to advise the job has been sent through to the Property Management team for review.
