About applying a layout template to an existing property
A layout template is a reusable property layout (areas and items) that you can apply to other properties, such as “Typical 2 Bed House”.
Applying a template updates the property’s Property Layout & Assets, so you do not need to manually create the same areas and items every time.
Before you begin
Before you apply a template, make sure you have what you need, so the change saves correctly.
You must already have a layout template available to select in the Layout dropdown
You need access to the Inspection Manager CMS (web-based system), where properties and layouts are managed
Apply a layout template to a property
