About tenant action requests in the app
The tenant action feature lets you create a request against a specific area or item while you are already working through an inspection in the app. The request starts with the broom icon, and the selected area or item is automatically carried into the request.
Create a tenant action request
Use the broom icon to create a tenant action request for the area or item you are inspecting. This opens the tenant action request form in the app.
Open the inspection and go to the relevant area or item
Tap the broom icon to begin adding a tenant action request
Check that the Item field has been filled in automatically based on the area or item where you tapped the icon
Enter a comment in the Comment field. This field is mandatory
Turn on This is a major issue if the action request is flagged as a major issue on the final report
Review the Add comments/photos to the report option, which is enabled by default:
On - If you want the comment and photos from the tenant action request to also be applied to the inspection report for that area or item
Off - If you do not want those details added to the inspection report
Tap Attachments to add photos from your camera or photo gallery
Tap Create to save the tenant action request
Tip: Add clear comments and supporting photos when the issue needs follow-up, because that makes the request more useful when it is reviewed later.
