Step 1: Upon accessing your Inspection on the Inspection Manager apps Inspection List you will now have 2 options:
360 Inspection: This allows you to connect to your 360 Camera and conduct a 360 Inspection which will create a Virtual Tour of the property.
Basic Inspection: This allows you to conduct a basic inspection of the property.
Step 2: Once you click on '360 Inspection' you will be taken to the 'Welcome to 360 Inspections' screen, tap 'Let's start' to get started.
Step 3: The next step will only show up if one of the 3 settings are not configured correctly. Once all 3 are ticked then it will automatically take you to the next step.
Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled from the control center.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled. Tap here to switch it on.
Turn on you device location. Tap here to enable it.
Step 4: The next step is to connect your 360 Camera to the Inspection Manager App. You will be prompted to turn on your 360 Camera if it is not being detected. Tap 'Connect' once you see it in the Discovered devices section.
Then tap 'Join' when the request pops up.
Step 5: Once Connected you will see the 'Connect' button get resplaced by a 'Disconect' button tap the 'Done' button to proceed.
Step 6: Over the next 3 pages you will be prompted to ensure that certain requirements to have a clear image are followed.
Setting up Equipment:
Check 360 camera battery level and ensure it's fully charged
Securely attach the 360 camera to the tripod and check whether it works with the 360 camera.
Test tripod stability to prevent camera movement during shooting.
Positioning:
Place the tripod in the center of the room, away from any specific objects.
Ensure there's at least one meter of space around the camera with no walls or objects.
Position the tripod at an optimal height, considering the average height of a person.
Adjust tripod position for the best perspective and coverage.
360 Camera Settings:
Turn on the 360 camera and ensure that it is functioning correctly.
Navigate to the camera settings and choose HDI mode for enhanced image quality.
Connect the camera to OneApp using Wi-Fi for remote control.
Check whether you can control the 360 camera through OneApp. 'Tap here to test capture'.
Once you have completed the '360 image test capture' tap 'Done' to proceed.
Step 7: You will then be taken to the '360 Inspection' screen. Here you will see a list of the Areas associated with the inspection.
You may begin by tapping on the area you wish to start taking a 360 photo for.
Once tapped you are able to use your finger to look around the room if you wish to ensure that you can see everything clearly. Once you are ready you can tap the blue 'Image Capture' icon at the bottom middle of the screen to begin 360 Image Capture.
Once the image has been taken you can then feel free to configure Pathways, Comments and Conditions.
Step 8: As you complete your 360 Inspection, you will notice that there is a colour code to the areas names and a checkbox on the left of each area.
Black: A 360 Image has not been captured in the area.
Orange: A 360 Image has been captured however there is no 'Return Pathway' set up.
Green: A 360 Image has been captured and has a 'Return Pathway' set up, this area will be marked with a 'Checkbox'.
If you tap the 'I'm Done' button before the 360 Inspection is complete it will save the 360 Inspection as a 'Draft' and take you to the 'Basic Inspection' screen. You can then tap 'View draft 360 Inspection' to then return to the 360 Inspection to complete it.
Step 9: If you tap the 'I'm Done' button after you have completed the 360 Inspection then you will be asked 'Do you wish to proceed to create the virtual tour for this inspection?' with two options:
No: This option will take you back to the 360 Inspection screen to continue to edit.
Yes: This option will then create the Virtual Tour and take you back to the 'Basic Inspection' screen to access all areas/items to manually take photos and add comment and conditions.
After you tap 'Yes' you will then see a 'View Virtual Tour' option. If you wish, you can then tap this option to be given two options to choose from.
View Virtual Tour: This will allow you to view the Virtual Tour as if you are an outside party to see what it will look like.
Edit Virtual Tour: This will allow you to go back into edit the Virtual Tour and add additional information.
Once you are happy with your Virtual Tour and completed your inspection you are then free to sync the inspection to the website when ready.
