About the activity feed

The activity feed (timeline) shows a chronological record of everything that happened to a key: bookings, cancellations, check‑outs/ins, email notifications, bulk actions, and borrower changes. Use it when you need visibility for operations, compliance, or dispute resolution.

What you’ll see

  • Event type (e.g., Key booked, Key marked as Checked OUT, Bulk Keys Checked‑in, Key Booking Cancelled, Email sent for booking cancellation)

  • Who performed the action (e.g., Organization Admin, Property Manager) and the Key Borrower (e.g., External, PM)

  • Timestamp for each action

Note: Before you begin, ensure that Bricks + Agent is enabled to access Key Automate.

Open and review a key’s activity feed

Use these steps from the Key Automate dashboard to view the Activity tab for a specific key.

To open the activity feed:

  • In Key Automate, click the key icon (Key Cabinet) to load the dashboard

  • On the dashboard, locate the required key tile

  • Click the key tile to open Key Details

  • Select Activity (next to Overview)

  • Review the timeline from newest to oldest. Each entry shows the event, actor, borrower (if applicable), and timestamp

  • (Optional) Use the dashboard filters to narrow the visible set of keys before opening Key Details, which can make timelines easier to correlate with bookings

Tip: Events labelled Email sent confirm that system notifications were generated (e.g., a booking cancellation). Use these entries when validating communications.
