About managing key copies
Use Manage Key Copies to duplicate an existing key for a property, label who the copy is for, and keep an audit trail. Copied keys are automatically checked in and appear in the virtual key cabinet, ready for booking.
Note: Before you begin, ensure that Bricks + Agent is enabled to access Key Automate unless you are accessing Key Automate through your supported PM software.

About copied key details in the virtual key cabinet
When you open a copied key in the virtual key cabinet and view key details, the overview tab includes two copy‑specific fields that identify the relationship to the source key.
Select the Key cabinet (key icon)
Select a key to open Key Details
Copy name shows the label you selected when creating the copy, for example, Office use, Master, or Tenant
Original key shows the ID of the source key that was copied
These fields do not appear on keys that originate from your property management software sync.
