Key Automate Settings appear in General Settings only when your office has the Key Automate integration enabled. These settings control whether Inspection Manager creates key bookings automatically and how the system calculates the “Checked In” date/time for a key booking.
Note: This section is typically available only to users with the Office Manager role.
Access Key Automate settings
Use these steps to open Key Automate Settings section in the CMS.
Select Settings from the left menu
On the General Settings page, locate the Key Automate Settings panel
In Key Automate Settings, update any of the following:
Enable or disable automatic key booking creation
This setting controls whether key bookings are created automatically in Key Automate when inspections are created or managed (depending on your integration behaviour).
Configure key booking creation
Toggle the setting:
On to create key bookings for inspections in Key Automate
Off to stop creating key bookings for inspections in Key Automate
Tip: Turn this on only when your office is ready to generate key bookings as part of the inspection workflow.
Time period used to calculate the “Checked In” date/time for key booking
This setting controls the time period used to calculate the “Checked In” date for a key booking.
Configure the “Checked In” time period
Select the option your office uses:
24 hours to use a 24-hour period
Custom to use a custom period
Select between hours or days and enter a number
Select Save
0 to apply a zero-hour setting (if your workflow requires it)
