STEP 1: On the main dashboard select the "+ Job Post" to send a maintenance request out to the owner approval by the manual entry.
STEP 2: Click on the 'Call from a tenant or owner (Manual Entry)' button.
STEP 3: Fill in the maintenance request as you normally would. The tenant field is pre-populated, you may choose "Not Required" however it will not show in the work order.
You can edit the details by clicking the 🖋️ icon on the right-hand side of every field. Once done, click Ask Owner Approval.
STEP 4: You may edit the email that will send out to the owner to add some more information or personalisation.
From here you have the option to write the owner a note which can be used to ask a question or provide a recommendation to the owner and will be sent via email to the owner.
You also have the option to send via SMS and set it as default. By clicking on the ‘Set as default’ button, the selected channel will be set as the default notification method for future owner approvals of this property.
After you've made any changes/selections click 'Ask Owner Approval.'
Your owners do not require an 'App' to approve or reject maintenance, they will receive an email which includes a link that sends them to an external webpage where they can approve/reject the request.
Once completed the job will appear in the Follow-Up category with the status "Pending Owner Approval"
You can also send a job for owner approval when you have received quotes and variations from trade.
