About Inspections tab filters

When you sign in to the Inspection Manager CMS, you land on the Inspections tab. The filter bar at the top of the page helps you quickly narrow the list of inspections so you can find specific inspections faster.

You can filter by:

  • Inspection type (Ingoing, Routine, Outgoing)

  • Date (Today, Tomorrow, or a custom date range)

  • Status

  • Inspector, Suburb, and Manager

Note: You can stack filters (use more than one at a time) to get more specific results.

Filter by inspection type

Use the inspection type buttons to show only the types you want.

  • Go to: Inspections in the left-hand menu

  • Select one or more inspection types:

    • Ingoing

    • Routine

    • Outgoing

  • To remove a type filter, select the same button again to toggle it off

Tip: If no type buttons are selected, all inspection types display by default.

Filter by date

Use date filters to schedule inspections for a specific day or within a time period.

Use quick date filters

  • Select Today to show inspections dated today

  • Select Tomorrow to show inspections dated tomorrow

Use a custom date range

  • In From, enter or pick a start date

  • In To, enter or pick an end date

  • Select Go to apply the date range

Note: Dates are displayed in DD/MM/YYYY format.

Filter by inspection status

Use the Status drop-down to display inspections in a specific stage.

  • Open the Status drop-down

  • Select the status you want to view (for example, In Progress or Completed)

  • Common statuses shown include:

    • Closed

    • In Tenant Review

    • Completed

    • Not Synced

    • In Progress

    • Pending

    • Scheduled

Tip: The number in brackets (for example, Completed (14)) reflects how many inspections match the current filters. This count will change as you stack filters.

Filter by inspector

Use the Inspector field to find inspections assigned to a specific inspector.

  • In the Inspector field, start typing the inspector’s name

  • Select the inspector from the list that appears

  • Select Go to apply the filter

Note: You must select the name from the list. If you only type the name and do not select it, you will not get results.

Filter by suburb

Use Suburb to narrow inspections to a specific location.

  • In the Suburb field, start typing the suburb

  • Select the suburb from the list that appears

  • Select Go to apply the filter

Filter by manager

Use Manager to show inspections linked to a specific property manager.

  • In the Manager field, start typing the manager’s name

  • Select the manager from the list that appears

  • Select Go to apply the filter

Tip: If you are not seeing the inspection you expect, clear one filter at a time to identify which filter is restricting results.
