πŸ“ Take note: Please do not edit an existing tenancy and replace it with new details.

It is always better to add a new tenancy. editing one tenancy and replacing the information with new tenant details can cause issues.

Step 1: You must first search for the property using the search bar located at the top of the CMS.

Step 2: Then select the 'Edit' pencil icon on the right of the property to enter into edit mode.

Step 3: Once in edit mode, click the '+ Add New Tenancy' option and skip to Step 4.

If the '+ Add New Tenancy' option does not exist then you have two tenancies already applied to this property.

(See 'Archiving Tenancies' below)

Archiving Tenancies: If there is already two Tenancies set up on the property then you will need to Archive at least one to be able to add in a new tenancy. To do this simply click the 'Archive' folder icon to the top right of any tenancy, then click 'Save Property' at the bottom right of the property profile to finalise that change and then 'Edit' the property again to continue.

Step 4: If one tenancy already exists on the property, you will be prompted on whether you wish to archive them or not.

  • To archive the tenancy displayed, simply select the 'Checkbox' and click 'Archive Tenants'.

  • To leave the tenancy on the property simply click 'Do Not Archive Tenant(s)'.

Step 5: From this screen, you need to fill out all of the information required for the Tenancy.

Please be careful to make sure that you are entering in the correct names, emails, mobiles, lease dates and current rent amounts.
