PropertyMe Integration - Diagnose and Resolve Issues

This article explains the most common issues faced with PropertyMe integration and how to resolve them.

Updated over 2 months ago

1. Inspection/Property Not Syncing To Inspection Manager

  • If you do not have an inspection scheduled on the property in PropertyMe, the first thing you should do is schedule an inspection. (The integration will not sync over a property without an inspection scheduled in PropertyMe)

  • If you do have an inspection scheduled on the Property in PropertyMe and you have run a sync and the property is not showing up, navigate to the PropertyMe tab on the Inspection Manager website and check for any invalid data on the table half way down the screen with a Red banner.

Invalid data can be any one of the following:

Property Manager Conflicts - Any properties in this list will either have no user assigned to the Inspection scheduled in PropertyMe or the users name assigned in PropertyMe is not a perfect match with the users name in Inspection Manager.

Invalid Data - Any properties in this list will have in valid data such as Invalid Postcode or State. If the error is 'Empty Owner' and you do have an owner on the property in PropertyMe, simply delete the inspection in PropertyMe and reschedule it.

Exceed Plan Limit - Any properties in this list will not sync over until additional room is created in your Inspection Manager account by either deactivating properties you no longer look after or upgrading your Inspection Manager plan.

Data Error - Any properties in this list normally have a deeper issue, you can contact our support staff to look into it, however the most common causes are:
    Invalid Lease start/end date.
Strange characters in the Mobile number field for Tenant/Owner.

2. The Incorrect Tenant is Syncing to Inspection Manager

This issue can occur when the wrong tenant is assigned to the inspection scheduled in PropertyMe. To fix this you simply need to look up the inspection in PropertyMe, then use the drop down arrow to update the tenant assigned to the inspection and 'Save' then run a Sync from the PropertyMe tab in Inspection Manager.
