Property managers now have an improved job posting experience with the new 'Link the asset' feature. This update allows assets to be linked at the first stages of the job posting process, making asset tracking and management more seamless. Additionally, the terminology has been updated across the system for clarity, with 'Selected assets' now referred to as 'Linked assets'. This feature enhances consistency and visibility in asset management, ultimately boosting operational efficiency.
We have also added in a new setting that agencies can turn on to automatically capture assets during job posting. When this setting is enabled, the system will automatically identify assets from the job title, job description, and job attachment.

Property managers now benefit from an enhanced job posting process that automatically suggests relevant assets based on job details. During posting, images can be marked for direct inclusion in the asset register dashboard. A new toggle in settings facilitates asset scanning via job postings. After posting, identified assets are swiftly confirmed and added to the “To be Approved” basket in the Asset Register Dashboard. This streamlined approach simplifies asset management for increased efficiency.
✨ Introducing the Review Assets Dashboard: Streamline and Enhance Asset Management!
We are excited to introduce the new Review Assets Dashboard, designed to streamline asset management for Property Managers. This central hub allows PMs to efficiently manage and approve new asset details collected from job postings and tenant uploads, including single-link tenant submission forms. Key functionalities include:
Search by Property Address: Quickly find assets using property addresses.
Approve or Delete Assets: Easily manage asset approval or deletion.
Identify Duplicates: Spot and manage duplicate entries.
Request Additional Details: Send convenient links to tenants for more information.
Additionally, assets can be categorised by their status: Pending Approval, Duplicates, Sent to Tenants, and Tenant Completed. These enhancements ensure greater efficiency and accuracy in managing asset details, greatly improving workflow for agencies.
✨ Simplify Asset Management!
We have created a simplified interface and a templated email that can be easily sent to tenants asking for their assistance in capturing photos of the assets in their property. Lead Org Admins can now send this link to all tenants, and Property Managers can target specific tenants from the "Assets" drawer.
All related activity is tracked in the "Activity" tab of each property. Tenants receive email requests and can easily upload photos via the provided link, which then saves these assets directly to your Asset Register. A well kept Asset Register helps to streamline your maintenance management and warranty tracking, so this feature helps you to with asset registration and management, enhancing efficiency and ease for both property managers and tenants.
✨ Enhancement: Seasonal Recurring Jobs
Introducing the Seasonal Recurrence Type! Now, you can seamlessly post, manage, and track seasonal jobs. The system handles displaying the appropriate fields, generating relevant child jobs, and ensuring email notifications are sent to necessary parties, excluding parent job notifications. This enhancement automates job creation for seasonal demands, simplifying your workflow and focusing on essential tasks.
✨ Introducing Organisation-wide Unread Email Notifications
We are pleased to announce a new feature that enables organisation-wide notifications for unread emails. When activated, users will see an alert with the number of unread emails directly on the Communications tab. This setting is easily managed via "Property Manager Settings" under "Agency Configuration" in the Settings tab.
Key highlights include:
Visible Alerts: Unread email notifications appear on the Communications Tab icon in the left-side menu and the Email Timeline at the top right corner.
Efficient Management: Individual email read/unread status remains user-specific, ensuring efficient email management without disrupting current system behaviour.
This feature ensures you stay on top of important communications across your organisation.
✨ Enhanced Notification Control for Recurring Jobs
We're excited to introduce a feature that gives property managers refined control over notifications for recurring jobs. When posting a parent recurring job and selecting options like 'Notify Owner', 'Notify Tenant via SMS', or 'Notify Trade via SMS', notifications will only be sent for child recurring jobs. This reduces unnecessary communications and keeps the activity timeline and generated Activity PDF free of parent job notifications. Invoices-only recurring jobs will skip the Approve Invoice drawer during the final posting step. If an invalid job ID is used when completing a parent job via email, users will receive a bounce-back error email. This enhancement streamlines communication, ensuring relevant parties receive the right information at the right time, and improves workflow clarity and efficiency.
✨ Priority Due Date Default Setting
LeadOrgAdmin users can now adjust the default priority due dates for urgent and non-urgent jobs, ranging from 1 to 30 days, within the 'Property Manager Settings' under 'Agency Configurations' in the new Property Manager app. Please note, emergency priority settings remain unchanged and are excluded from this adjustment. This enhancement offers greater flexibility in managing job priorities effectively.
✨ Partial Payments Feature
In the new PM app, property managers using Console Cloud integration can now make partial payments for jobs with various statuses (Overdue, Scheduled, In Progress, Unscheduled). This functionality is accessible via the "Make a Payment" option under the job's "Overview" or "Details" tabs. Users can input invoice amount, description, and attach invoices for comprehensive record-keeping. Upon successful payment, a confirmation toast message appears, and payment details sync to Console Cloud, triggering email notifications to trades. Both property managers and trades can view and download invoices from relevant drawers and job details pages, ensuring seamless tracking and management of partial payments across all job statuses.
✨ Email Forwarder for Internal Emails
Property Managers (PMs) can now forward emails directly from the “Emails” tab or “Communications Dashboard”. Users can select recipients, edit email content, and attach files as needed. Error messages alert users to invalid email addresses, maintaining seamless integration with the current email management system.
✨ Job Number Generation Enhancement: Streamlined for Growth!
We are excited to announce an enhancement to our job number generation logic to better accommodate an increasing volume of jobs. The new format will follow the YYMMXXXXXX pattern, replacing the previous YYMMXXXXX format. Existing jobs will retain their current job IDs, while new jobs will receive IDs in the updated format. This change ensures that all job numbers are valid across various platforms, including email quotes and omni-channel postings. The new format will be applied consistently across all system interfaces, email notifications, and dashboard views, providing seamless tracking and efficient job management.

Error Notification: An error message will now appear if you attempt to cancel an invoice that another user has already cancelled for the same job.
Single Cancellation: The "Cancel Invoice" button is now a one-time action to prevent duplicate cancellations.
Simplified Interface: We've removed visible emails and stamps associated with cancelled invoices to reduce confusion.
User Control: The original user who cancelled the invoice retains the ability to manage it.
Navigation: To cancel an invoice, simply navigate to the completed job and select the "Cancel Invoice" button.

You can now view the created tenancy invoices on the "Attach Invoice" screen.
With this release, all vacated tenants who are not archived will be displayed (along with a “Vacated” tag) under the Create Tenancy Invoice section.
✨Introducing new features for Reapit users in Bricks+Agent
With this release, you can post a job and approve job with an invoice attached as a Reapit integrated property manager within Bricks+Agent. It will also be synchronised to Reapit.
In addition, you can now add a property, add tenants, or add landlords to the Reapit system.
✨Enhancements for the default budget and urgency settings
The "Enable Preset Urgency and Budget Options" setting will be renamed to "Enable Preset Budget Options." As a result, only budget-related options will be visible within this setting.
Job urgency settings will no longer be part of this configuration, all jobs are automatically categorised as 'Non-urgent' by default.
✨ Enhancement of the email templates under the Emails Tab
With this release, you can edit, delete, and apply the saved email templates.
In addition, you can view all saved email templates created by any PMs in your agency.
✨ Enhancement of service types for New Zealand Property Managers
In this new update, property managers in New Zealand can now choose the main service type and a single sub-service category when posting a job/editing a post. This gives more flexibility in describing the services they need.
