About cover page photos in Inspection Manager CMS
Use the Property Image section in the Inspection Manager CMS to add a cover-page photo to a property. This image is used as the property’s cover image for inspection reports, subject to your cover page settings in CMS.
Before you start
Before you add a photo to a report cover page, make sure the cover page feature is enabled in Inspection Manager CMS.
Add a cover page photo
To add a cover page photo, first open the correct property in the CMS.
In Inspection Manager CMS, enter the property address in the search bar
In the Property search results, select the correct property address
Select Edit using the pencil icon to open the property record
Tip: If the search returns both property and inspection results, make sure you select the result from the Property section.
Scroll down to the Property Image section
Add the image using one of the following methods:
Drag and drop the image into the upload area
Select Upload Image and browse to the image on your computer
Once the image is added, the image editor opens
Position the image within the frame so the most important part of the photo appears in view
Use the Cover Preview to check how the image will look when saved
If you need to use a different file, select Replace Image, browse to the image, then select Open
When the image is aligned correctly, select Save
In the property image confirmation window, select OK
Note: The upload area in the original article lists JPEG/PNG and 5 MB as the image requirements.
Tip: Choose a clear landscape image that keeps the property centred in the preview frame. Smaller images may show more of the full image in the frame, but if they are too small, they may reduce quality when displayed.
Under Property Image, review the saved image
Select Save Property
