About the cover page feature in Inspection Manager
The cover page feature adds a branded first page to an inspection report. This overview article explains what the feature does and directs you to the correct article for setup and day-to-day use. Detailed steps are covered in the linked articles below.
Cover pages are configured in Inspection Manager CMS under Settings, while the property image used on the cover can be added either in the app or in CMS, depending on how your team works.
A cover page photo is the property image used on the report cover page. In the app, the image is managed in the Report Cover Photo section of the inspection. In CMS, the image is managed in the Property Image section of the property record.
If Enable Cover Page As Default is turned OFF, the cover page must be enabled for individual inspections or reports as needed. If it is turned ON, the cover page is included automatically unless it is turned off for a specific report.
Before you start
To use a photo as the report cover page image, the cover page feature must be enabled in Inspection Manager CMS first. The cover page tab appears only after the feature is enabled.
Find the right article
Use the linked articles below based on the task you want to complete. Each article covers a different part of the Cover Page feature.
Manage cover pages for Inspection Manager reports
Use Manage cover pages for Inspection Manager reports to enable the cover page feature, choose a cover page template, control whether cover pages are used by default, or customise the cover page layout and displayed fields in CMS. The CMS article shows that your team can also choose whether the cover page is enabled automatically or only for selected inspections.
Add a report cover photo in the Proptech Labs Property Manager app
Use Add a report cover photo in the Proptech Labs Property Manager app if you want to add or manage the report cover photo from the mobile app while working on an inspection. The app article shows that users can open an inspection, expand Report Cover Photo, and add, edit, or delete an image from there.
Add a cover page photo in the CMS
Use Add a cover page photo in the CMS to upload the property image directly from the property record. The CMS article shows that users search for the property, open the property record, and add the image in the Property Image section.
