About resending a TAI in the Inspection Manager CMS

If a tenant did not receive the original Tenant Assisted Inspection email, you can resend the inspection from the inspection list in the Inspection Manager CMS. You can either reopen the email window and resend the request, or copy the tenant link and send it manually.

This article applies after a TAI has already been sent for a routine inspection.

Before you begin

Before you resend a TAI, make sure the original request has already been sent. Once the TAI email is sent, the inspection no longer shows as Pending and becomes available for follow-up actions in the inspection list.

Resend a TAI email

Use these steps to reopen the email window and resend the TAI request.

  • In the CMS > Go to: Inspections on the left-hand menu

  • Find the inspection with the status T Routine

  • Select Resend for that inspection

  • In the Send Tenant Assisted Inspection window, review the recipient, subject, template, and message

  • Select Send Email(s) to resend the TAI request to the tenant

Tip: Use this option if you want to resend the original TAI email from Inspection Manager rather than sending the link from another system.

Copy the tenant link for a sent TAI

Use these steps to manually send the tenant link instead of resending the email from Inspection Manager.

  • In the CMS > Go to: Inspections on the left-hand menu

  • Find the inspection with the status T Routine

  • Select the drop-down menu next to Resend

  • Select Copy Link

  • In the Tenant Assisted Routine Link Generated window, copy the link

  • Paste the link into your email system or another communication tool, then send it to the tenant

Tip: Use Copy Link if the tenant did not receive the original email and you want to send the link manually from your office email client or trust accounting system.
