About signing out of the app

Signing out can help the app refresh in the background and reduce the amount of old inspection data stored on your device. In general, signing out may:

  • Remove locally stored data for inspections that were closed prior to a set period (for example, closed more than a week ago)

  • Refresh office settings (including items such as Predictive Phrases)

  • Refresh your inspection list, so you see the latest updates to properties, inspections, and layouts

Note: The exact changes that happen during sign-out can vary by app version and your agency configuration. If you notice different behaviour, capture a screenshot and share it with support.


Before you sign out

If you have inspections in progress, it is a good idea to check that everything is up to date before signing out. This helps reduce the risk of missing changes when you sign back in.

  • Go to: Inspections and check whether any inspections are marked Not Synced

  • If needed, sync your inspections (for example, by using the app's Sync area)

Tip: If you are working offline, wait until you have a stable connection before syncing and signing out.


Sign out from the More menu

You can sign out from anywhere in the app using the bottom navigation.

  • Open the Proptech Labs Property Manager app

  • Tap More (bottom-right)

  • Tap Sign Out

  • In the pop-up confirmation window, tap Yes to complete sign-out

After you sign out, you will return to the app selection screen.

What to expect after you sign out and back in

When you sign back in, you may notice:

  • A refreshed inspection list

  • Updated office settings (including updated Predictive Phrases, if your office uses them)

  • Reduced storage use over time if the app was retaining older closed inspection data
