How to complete your Ingoing Report [Mobile]
Updated over a week ago

Starting with the first page, you will be asked if the property address, your name, lease, and inspection dates are correct. If not, tap on "NO" and the contact number of your property manager will appear so you can get assistance from the property manager. If correct, tap 'YES' to proceed.

After tapping 'YES' you will be directed to the inspection report.

You need to carefully read this as most of the statements here are from your property manager or legislative rules. Simply read through all of it and tap on "I ACKNOWLEDGE' at the end to progress.

The next section is Safety & Utilities. Please bear in mind that you cannot edit this part of the report, but you can disagree with it and add comments. After reading all provided information, scroll all the way down and you will come across two buttons. Tapping 'I AGREE' will take you to the next section and will continue on with the report. Tapping 'I DISAGREE' will allow you to add a comment and a supporting image.

After tapping the 'I DISAGREE' button, you must also tap on the condition code on the upper right of the comment box from 'YES' to 'NO'. After that, you be able to add comments and photos as proof of why you have disagreed with the property manager's statement. To add photos, you will just tap the camera icon on the right part of the comment box, then attach an image.

Tap 'PROCEED' to continue on to the next section.

The next section is reviewing the inspection itself. You will see the list of every area and item of the property to inspect. To begin reviewing, you must expand the area of the property to see the items and the information. You must acknowledge every area before you are able to sign the inspection report.

Once an area has been expanded, you can see all the data that the property manager has entered during the ingoing inspection. If you agree with the information, then scroll down to the bottom of the area and tap 'I AGREE'. Otherwise tapping 'I DISAGREE' will allow you to add any comments and photos to a specific item that you disagree with.

Here is an example of disagreeing with the cleanliness of the ceiling. After tapping 'I DISAGREE', you add the comment and a photo showing why you disagree. Once done tap on 'SAVE AND CONTINUE'.

You'll need to expand and agree to, or disagree then save and continue, on every area in the inspection. Once you've gone through every area, the 'PROCEED TO SIGNATURE' button will become green and you will be able to proceed. You will be given one final opportunity to add any additional comments for the property. Your previous additional comments should also display here. Tap 'PROCEED TO SIGNATURE' once more.

The next section is to sign off on the inspection report. You should already see your property manager's signature on the screen. Just scroll below that until you see the signature box with your name. Tap on the signature box, then sign your signature on the screen.

Once signed you will need to confirm that you allow your signature to be applied to every page of the inspection report automatically. Lastly, you'll need to tap on 'FINALISE REPORT'. An audit trail will also be provided to show the access history of the report. This will be shown below the signatures.

The last section will give you one last chance to go back and make any changes. Once you tap on 'CONFIRM' this will finalise the report and close it off, alerting your property manager that the inspection has been completed and signed off. If you see this, then you're good to go!
