About report cover photos

Use the report cover photo section in an inspection to add an image for the property.

Note: To add or upload photos from the app, the device must allow access to the camera and photo library.

Before you start

To use a photo as the report cover page image, the cover page feature must be enabled in the Inspection Manager CMS first.

If the cover page feature has not been enabled, users may still see the report cover photo section in the app, but the image will not appear on the final report cover page until the CMS cover page settings and template have been configured.

Add a report cover photo

To add a cover photo to an inspection from the app:

  • Open the Proptech Labs Property Manager app and go to the Inspections tab

  • Tap the inspection you want to update. This opens the property or inspection details screen

  • Scroll to Report Cover Photo and tap the section to expand it if needed

  • Tap Add Image

  • Choose one of the available options:

    • Take a new photo using the device camera

    • Upload an existing image from the device’s photo gallery

  • After the image is added, confirm that the photo appears in the Report Cover Photo section

  • Sync the inspection back to the web platform when you are finished, so the latest inspection data is uploaded

Manage an existing report cover photo

If a cover photo has already been added, the screenshots show that the app can display actions to manage that photo directly from the Report Cover Photo section.

  • Open the inspection and expand Report Cover Photo

  • If a photo is already present, tap:

    • Edit to change or replace the image

    • Delete to remove the image

  • If prompted, confirm the deletion

After adding the cover photo, sync the inspection so the latest changes are available on the web platform.
