This article covers:

About the property profile screen

The property profile screen gives you a quick overview of the property before you begin the inspection. It brings together the key information you may need on-site, so you can confirm you are at the correct property, review tenant and property details, and check the layout before starting.

You access this screen after opening an inspection from the Inspections list or Calendar in the app.

Check the property address and map location

The property address appears at the top of the property profile screen. You can also view the map to help confirm that you are starting the inspection for the correct property.

  • Open the inspection in the app

  • Check the property address shown at the top of the screen

  • Tap the map icon

  • Select your preferred map app to use the map view if you need to confirm the property location before starting

Tip: Use the map view as a quick confirmation step when you are onsite or managing multiple inspections in one day.

Review tenant information

The tenant information section shows the tenant's name linked to the property. If you are using a mobile phone, you can also contact the tenant directly from this screen by SMS or phone call. The tenant’s mobile number is pulled from the CMS.

  • Find the Tenant Info section on the property profile screen

  • Review the tenant details shown for the property

  • If needed, tap SMS Tenant or Call Tenant to contact the tenant directly

Note: Calling and SMS are available when using a mobile phone, not a tablet.

Review property notes

The property notes section shows notes linked to the property record in the CMS. This gives you useful context before you begin the inspection.

  • Find the Property Note section on the property profile screen

  • Read the property notes before starting the inspection

  • If needed, update the notes in the app or the CMS

Note: If your device has internet access, changes made to property notes in either the app or the CMS are shared immediately.

Check any inspection alerts

The inspection alert section displays important comments added in the CMS for that inspection or property. These alerts can help highlight anything you need to know before you start.

  • Find the Inspection Alert section on the property profile screen

  • Review any alerts shown before starting the inspection

  • Follow your office process if the alert requires action or acknowledgement before you proceed

Add or review the report cover photo

If the feature is enabled in the CMS, you can use the Report Cover Photo section to add a single image of the property’s front for the inspection report cover page.

  • Find the Report Cover Photo section on the property profile screen

  • Check whether a cover photo is already set

Note: This feature must be enabled and configured in the CMS before it is available in the app.

Review or adjust the property layout

The property layout section shows the rooms and areas that will be used during the inspection. This layout is pulled from the property record in the CMS, and you can adjust it from this screen before you start, if needed.

  • Find the Property Layout section on the property profile screen

  • Review the areas listed for the property

  • Tap Edit if needed to adjust the layout before beginning the inspection

  • Confirm the layout reflects the property correctly

Tip: Review the layout before you start so the inspection flow matches the property as you move through it onsite.

Start the inspection

Once you have reviewed the property details, you can start the inspection directly from the Property Profile Screen. The app provides two inspection options: 360 Inspection and Standard Inspection.

  • Review the property details shown on the screen

  • Tap 360 Inspection or Standard Inspection to begin

  • Continue in the inspection screen to record conditions, comments, photos, and other inspection details

Tip: This article focuses on preparing to start the inspection. For the detailed inspection process, see Conducting Inspections.
