About bulk property manager reassignment
Bulk reassignment lets you move multiple properties from one property manager (user) to another using the Properties page and a Select mass action option.
This is helpful when staff change roles, teams are rebalanced, or you need to hand over a portfolio quickly.
Before you start
To avoid accidentally updating the wrong properties, make sure you understand how filtering and selection work on the Properties list.
You will need:
Access to the Properties tab
The name of the current property manager you are reassigning properties from
The name of the new property manager you are reassigning properties to
Note: If you do not select a manager and click Go, the list may show properties for the entire account, increasing the risk of reassigning the wrong properties.
Reassign properties to another property manager in bulk
This process uses the Manager filter to display properties assigned to a specific user, then applies a mass action to reassign them.
Select Properties on the left menu
In the Manager filter, start typing the name of the property manager you want to reassign properties from
Select the correct name from the suggestions, then select Go to apply the filter
Select the properties you want to reassign:
Select the checkbox in the top-left of the properties list (in the header row) to select properties on the page
To select all properties assigned to the filtered manager (not just the current page), select Select All
Alternatively, select Select only this page if you only want to update the currently visible results
Open the Select mass action drop-down, then select Change Property Manager
In the reassignment panel, choose the new property manager from the list
Select Confirm
When the final confirmation pop-up appears, review the message and select Confirm to complete the reassignment
Note: The final confirmation message states the change cannot be undone. Plan to reassign carefully and double-check your selection before confirming.
